...Phillips Brooks House has just received as a gift from Mrs. John Cotton Brooks the working desk and chair of Phillips Brooks. The desk is an unusually large flat top oak desk and the chair is a revolving chair with a leather cushion and rattan back. The desk is to be marked with a plate bearing an inscription which will be written by Professor G. H. Palmer '64.
