Vice President Alben W. Barkley is 73 years old. In five days last week, Barkley, stumping for the Democratic ticket in a Kentucky state election, made speeches at Ashland, Pikesville, Cynthiana, Covington, Glasgow, Scottsville, Bowling Green, Elizabethtown, Henderson, Madisonville, Princeton and Hopkinsville.
