Vivien Leigh tells it as if she had grown up at the foot of the old fir tree, and Lyricist David Croft and Musician Cyril Ornadel hit it off like Lerner & Loewe. It takes a hard heart not to melt at naughty Peter's wistful "Why do I do it?" Pity that this team has cut only two other Potter records: The Tale of Benjamin Bunny and The Tale of Jemima Puddleduck...
