"Dead Men Tell No Tales" is a pleasingly eerie mesh of quiet guitar riffs, chimes and the voice of B-Real clucking "Da da da daaa." "Prelude to a Come Up" features a strikingly solemn piano line that punctuates the lyrics, creating a softly mystical aura. And the album's best song, "From the Window of My Room," is exhilarating through its creepy blend of synthesized violins, electric keyboards and juiced-up bass beats...

Two minutes before the curtain went upon the second scene it didn't look as though the various grand marchers would be organized come Michaelmas. But the opera is strange, and everyone seemed to gravitate into place. Not that the audience could have told in that mob if one or two courtiers or kings were on the wrong side of the stage...
