Shorter hours, longer pay, group protection, a fixed scale of wages to abolish discriminatory employment-such were the keynotes of a cry for the unionization of the U. S. aviation industry sounded last week by Dale ("Red") Jackson, part-possessor of the world's unofficial endurance refueling record (TIME. Aug. 12). With L. H.
