...dash promises to be a critical event from a Harvard standpoint. Princeton expects Dawbarn to win from Foster, although the latter beat him in the Pennsylvania relay games early in the season. Since then Foster has constantly improved and will be at his best today and tomorrow. Sherman of Dartmouth, who took second a year ago, is not expected to compete as he strained a tendon last week. In his absence third and fourth places should lie between Minds of Pennsylvania, Hawley of Dartmouth, and Cary of Yale. Gamble of Princeton has not been in the best of condition lately...
Andover has a fairly strong team this year, having defeated the Yale Freshmen, Mercersburg, and Springfield Training School, but the team has lost to Dartmouth, Colby, Carlisle, and the University team. The Freshmen have not been defeated so far this season, but played at tie game with Hotchkiss last Saturday...

The excellent work which Captain Rand and Coaches Donovan and Quinn have done in developing the team has been demonstrated by its performances in the interclass games and in the meet last Saturday, when it defeated Dartmouth by 67 points. It is a question whether a steadily and rapidly improving team can overtake and defeat a team originally composed of tried men, which has rather fallen off than otherwise during the season's training.
