Last November New Zealand-born Arthur Edmund Clouston, who tests airplanes for Britain's Royal Air Force, flew from England to South Africa in 45 hours, an all-time record. Last week Flying Officer Clouston, in a four-year-old De Havilland Comet, flew from Port Darwin, Australia to Croydon, England in three days, 20 hours.
