Outland has started to play again, but has been put at quarterback, a new position for him. He has already infused much spirit and dash into the team. Overfield went from tackle to his old position at centre on Monday, where his three years of experience should make him more valuable to the team, then when at tackle. McCracken has been put at right halfback, where his experience in the guardsback formation makes him a strong runner and interferer. Stebie and Teas have taken Overfield's and McCracken's places at tackle and guard respectively, and Coombs and Reugenberg, once...

...strong positions of the Harvard line were the guards and ends. Burden and A. R. Sargent played a fast and consistent game. Them the second eleven was given the ball in the centre of the field to strengthen the first's defense. After they had been thrown back for several downs, Brayton made fifteen yards through Lawrence. A few more gains, and then the ball was given to the first and the rest of the half was spent in exchange of punts...

Yesterday's practice lacked the usual dash and snap. This was due in part to the weather, but more particularly to the presence of several new men on the team. Baldwin, the Freshman quarterback, played the greater part of the one half of about ten minutes. He passed with a fair degree of accuracy, was effective as an interferer and keyed the eleven up to fast offensive football. Peyton, also, who completely outclassed Swain in Thursday's practice, was tried at right tackle on the first eleven in Lawrence's place. He is a valuable man on the defense...
