Their boat was purchased from the Dauntless Boat Club, of New York, at a cost of $275. It is made of cedar and thirty-five feet long, by four wide and a foot and a half deep. There are positions for six oarsmen, with sliding seats, and it is rowed from the gunwale. The boat is in excellent condition, though very heavy, weighing about 500 pounds.
