With the score 22-12, Dave Powlison won the individual medley to start the Crimson towards its three consecutive sweeps. John Bragg was second. Divers Bill Murphy and Dick Eisenberg combined for another of their many sweeps by easily outpointing Penn's Amos Koons in the one-meter dive.
