M. Phinney at end is the only other "H" man on the squad. J. Ryan and J. Desmond, both of the 1916 squad are other strong candidates for the end positions, as are M. P. Davis and J. Gaston.
Wendell Davis '21, of New York City, was elected captain of the University crew for 1920 after the Yale race last June. Davis rowed bow on his Freshman crew two years ago and held the same position in last year's University boat. He prepared at Pomfret School.

The two latter hits by M. P. Davis '21 and N. Thayer '21, both came in the ninth and did much to make up the eight run total of that inning. Davis and J. T. Baldwin were the leaders in the Second team attack, each getting three hits.
