...University Glee Club will give a concert this evening at 8 o'clock at the Boston Art Museum, Boston. About 80 members of the Club will sing, with Dr. A. T. Davison '06 conducting. The concert tonight is one of a series of musical events arranged by the Museum. ...Davison's policy of cutting down the membership of the Glee Club during the season was vindicated by a marked improvement in the quality of tone over the first concert last December. He has now moulded the chorus into a body of singers surprisingly responsive to his slightest musical wish. He has made the Glee Club a finely sensitive musical instrument, upon which he can play as he will.
