Loranger plays Honey not merely as a drab, "slim-hipped" hanger onto Nick, but as a mostly-clueless waif with occasional but unspoken real glimmers of insight. She delivers lines like "Oh yes, [Nick] has a very firm body" deadpan, and "I don't want any children, I don't want any hurt" with a hysterical intensity that brings on the shivers...

...fast-talking and critical interrogator who loves to give the actors a hard time. After he insists on watching the rest of the play with the audience, Macbeth continues. But the disgusted and frustrated actors refuse to emote, providing a humorous rendition which far outstrips their first, deadpan performance. Jeffrey Wise as Banquo loosens up and Linus Gelber, as Ross, becomes delightfully cynical. Cannon makes a marked improvement here as well since he no longer tries to convey Macbeth's determination by unnecessarily shouting the lines...
...subject of humor, the Cape Town caperers should not despair over the delay in the reply to their letter. It is a sad fact that attempts at humor are sometimes taken seriously, and President Bok may have been confused by the deadpan style of the "Harvard-Radcliffe Alumni for Divestiture" letter, and put off by the list of 300 plus signatures, a realistic but tedious touch.
