Committee chairman Alfonse D'Amato said it was "unacceptable" that the White House waited until this week to turn over 100 pages of Whitewater documents from the files of deputy White House chief of staff Harold Ickes. A White House spokesman apologized for the delay in finding the papers, which had been subpoenaed in October 1995.
