...Delta's Nonstop Delays. FlyersRights.org's new report on tarmac delays gives Delta Airlines the "When You Are on the Ground, They Treat You Like Dirt" award, for having had the longest delays - up to 10 hours on the tarmac - and the most delays over three hours in 2008. According to the watchdog group, Delta kept passengers on more than 300 flights waiting on the tarmac for three hours or longer last year. Southwest was given the "My Heavens" award for putting into action a plan to move passengers stuck on the tarmac off the planes and for providing food...
...television and singing “That party last night was awfully crazy / I wish we taped it”—what a relief he did! The party he spends the next four minutes rapping about is a modern day version of National Lampoon’s Delta House, complete with mattresses falling from second floor windows, a strip poker game, and even a grandma shooting a ball out of her mouth to score a winning shot in beer pong. The shorts, which include one about a woman plagued by an obsessive telemarketer, and another about a filmmaker's effort to create the greenest film ever, will also be shown on board Delta flights through Delta...

In 2006 a federal law started requiring companies to use plain language to note the presence in their products of any of eight major allergens: milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soybeans. But concern about liability claims led manufacturers to voluntarily supplement these labels with alerts on products...
Cincinnati, Outbound. Delta is slashing fares out of its Cincinnati hub on 21-day advance purchases to cities in Florida, the Northeast and the West Coast, with discounts of up to 58% compared with 2008 rates. Fares to L.A. are going for $130 each way, down from $310 last year, or to Boston for $152 each way, down from...
