They depend upon a newly synthesized drug to keep the bowels moving and expelling any gas which may form. The drug: dimethyl-carbamic ester of 3-hydroxyphenyl-trimethyl ammonium methyl-sulphate, a chemical compound which has been telescoped to prostigmin. Drs.
