Although the plight of the drama is acute in every large city, Boston's theatrical doldrums probably represent the nadir. Only four of the legitimate theatres are open at present, and of these, two depend for their drawing power on cautious revivals of "old faithfuls" of the stage. Left. By Richard Teller Crane Jr., president of Crane Co. (plumbing) who died three weeks ago (TIME. Nov., 16): an estate estimated at $50,000,000, of which more than $1,200,000 goes to 4,000 old Crane employes. Yale won the toss and chose to depend the sunny side to kick to Harvard. Sensational playing began by Rotan kicking to Wood, the Harvard captain. By a lateral Crickard proceeded 25 yards to the Yale goal line, being forced out on Yale's 5-yard line. In two successive plays Crickard and White failed to gain. On the fourth down, Wood attempted a short pass but landed untouched on the Yale end zone...
