This epically unfunny Broadway comedy takes place on the desert set of a Hollywood extravaganza, as two brothers fight for the hand of a perky assistant director. Kristin Chenoweth, a Tony winner for last season's revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, is cute, if a bit overcooked, as the Kewpie-doll A.D.
