After the recent agitation for the reduction of the number of intercollegiate contests it is interesting to compare the baseball schedule for this spring with last year's list of games. The most noticeable feature is the attempt of the management to detract as little as possible from the "scholarly interests" of the undergraduates. The number of mid-week games in Cambridge during term time has been reduced 25 per cent, because these contests caused absences from lectures.
