...three sections of the Eighth Massachusetts Regiment arrived in the Somerville yards of the Boston and Maine Railroad last night at 7 o'clock, where they will remain until time for the men to detrain for the parade today at 9 o'clock. The parade will start from the North Station to Canal street to Washington, to School, to Beacon, to Charles streets. The battery will detrain as rapidly as possible and starting between 10 and 11, will parade over the following route: Huntington avenue to Boylston street to Washington to Essex to LincoIn to High to Batterymarch to State to Washington to School to Beacon to Arlington to Commonwealth avenue to the armory.
