ANNUAL THEATRICALS.The annual theatricals of the Conference Francaise were given in the old Hasty Pudding Building before a large audience. "Les Deux Sourds" a well known play by Moineaux was given first. Mr. C. H. C. Wright, '91, as Damoiseau, was especially good, although the others showed evidence of careful preparation in their parts. In the second play the acting of Messrs, Wright and Sweeny deserves especial mention. The principal characters were well supported by the minor roles. Both plays went off smoothly. The audience caught the spirit of the comedies, and showed their appreciation by liberal applause...
