Yesterday afternoon, Dick Grant 1M., who did not know until too late to take part in it that the cross country run was to be held Thursday afternoon, went over the course against time. He succeeded in covering the distance in 28m. 52 4-5s., easily beating Clark's time of 31m. 20s., made on Thursday.
