While we admire this aspiration toward diplomacy, we believe that in this case the sentiment is ill-advised. Thousands of Zimbabweans continue to suffer and die at the hands of Mugabe’s terrible regime, in part because of the AU’s refusal to step in. The AU as a whole would do well to reconsider. Additionally, those pushing for regime change in Zimbabwe ought to look to South Africa for help...
