Tolerant people might pretend that it was the heady passing of Caulkins, the running of slippery Slagle, or dauntless Dignan, or the doings of an unheard-of Princeton back named Prendergast, who-sent into the game in the last five minutes-carried the ball ten times (almost in succession), and gained 89 yards. ...Yale backfield is heavier than the Princeton carrying quartet, and in running ability seems just about as powerful. Yale has no back so individually brilliant as Slagle, but Noble, Cutler, and Cottle are speedsters who should give the Tigers plenty of trouble. Dignan's line plunging ability has had great effect in Princeton's last two games, but with Sturhahn in the Yale line he and Bridges are likely to find difficulty in gaining much ground...
