...Internet provide endless opportunities for free "cut-and-paste" material. In one year, my publication caught three writers who had lifted--almost directly--Internet information for use in their stories. One rather well-known writer had the audacity to appropriate an exquisite passage from the works of Isak Dinesen and weave it into his own story--unattributed, of course.
