Last January WHRB announcer Pete Salerno '68 won Playboy magazine's nationwide jazz prediction poll, a dis-jockey contest to guess what the readers would choose the most popular jazz numbers of the year, Salerno scored first participate the readers' taste, but, he says; "it was a calculated win.
