Morgan '11 who played Lacrosse while at College, being a star attack man and the member of a championship team. ...collection of English caricatures is now on display in the show cases of the Widener Library. Most of these caricatures are on political subjects and were first published somewhat over a century ago. The oldest of those being exhibited is one of St. George and the Dragon published in 1782. Among the most interesting of the others is one of seven original drawings which were made for Punch by John Leech from 1845-1859. These drawings represent the reactions of the common people to a financial panic which occurred in London at that time. Another of particular current interest...
