Drug use "immediately causes individuals to commit crime, as they disregard our rationally imposed legal norms." What crimes do drug users immediately commit, except for the crime of using drugs? Perhaps Kaufman is referring to statistics that 70 percent of violent crimes are committed by people on drugs.
