Granted, the scandals have entitled themselves to the exaggerative tendencies of the Republican Congress, but to the extent that they continue to reflect a fundamental disrespect for the offices of our government, they must resonate with an America whose traditional optimism has been based upon the integrity of its citizens and its government...

With this policy the College has again demonstrated its general disrespect for students' maturity and self-knowledge. ...looking at the big picture, why should anybody care? It's obvious: the council is your collective voice at Harvard University. When councillors disrespect administrators, or foster division on campus, or play games with your money and trust, they do it in your name. You look asinine because of their antics...
