Duncan W. Purdy, owner of the About Hair salon and antique store near Harvard Square, was “found guilty of maintaining a house of prostitution and deriving support from the earnings of a prostitute” last week, according to Middlesex District Attorney Spokeswoman Meredith Lerner. Purdy is scheduled to return for sentencing for the prostitution charges on March 13. The case was brought to trial before the Superior Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on February 20, and ended on February 23. Purdy pled not guilty to all charges.
