Though Harvard's Divinity School remains a stronghold of theological liberalism and social action, even here officials and students are beginning to recognize the evangelical trend. Jane I. Smith, dean of academic affairs at the Div School, says that faculty members have discussed establishing a chair in evangelical studies.
