...swimming team defeated the Brookline Gymnasium Swimming team last evening in an exceedingly close meet by a score of 32 to 31 points. Every event, with the exception of the diving competition was very closely contested. By far the best work of the evening was done by H. R. Hitchcock, Jr., '14, who won first place in the forty, hundred, and two hundred and twenty yard dashes, all in very fast time, thus scoring to total of 15 points. J. Mention was made of the monthly reports and the special committee reports showing the important characteristics of the work done by Phillips Brooks House in following up the volunteers it had sent to settlement communities.
