Harvard played a very good game on Holmes field yesterday afternoon and defeated the Newark Atlantic League team by a score of seven to two. Frothingham was at second again, where he did good work, and Hallowell was in left field. He fielded poorly but batted well. Downer pitched a very effective game, and the seventh was the only inning in which the visitors succeeded in bunching their hits at all.
