HARVARD CREW QUARTERS, RED TOP, CT., June 17, 1907.--The work for the crews here today was moderately light. In the morning the University crew went downstream for a mile, and then returned up the river to Red Top, after which it again went downstream for half a mile before leaving the water. The Freshman crew covered a mile and a half in easy stretches. Buxton, who has rowed regularly at 4, is threatened with the mumps, and has been quarantined.
