When the first unit lined up for signal drill and a dummy scrimmage there were five changes in the team which opened against B.U. Rate and Paul Crowley replaced ends Dike Hyde and and Ravrehy. Buddy Lemay was holding down Paul O'Brien's center position, and tackle John Nichols was again on the offensive team in place of Bob Stargol. In the backfield Red Wylie was running as wingback instead of Dave Warden...
