...unsteady. The coaches have paid but little attention to appearance, and each man has individual faults which mar the looks of the crew, although they do not severely hurt its effectiveness. The recovery is not quite as good as that of the Harvard crew, but there is a stronger drive at the finish, so that the boat does not stop between strokes as much as Harvard's.
