...Wigglesworth and O'Brien left the ball in Harvard's possession on Holy Cross's 25-yard line. A 5-yard penalty for offside and an uncompleted forward pass made it third down on the 30-yard line. Wigglesworth, standing 40 yards from the goal sent a straight drop-kick which looked sure to score. The ball, however, hit the cross-bar and bounded back.
