...space she had available. With actors and musicians who appear to have had little formal dance instruction, she has crafted several smooth and polished numbers, involving the entire cast as well as the dancers themselves. ...bourgeois, and Kearns presents Peachum with a clear understanding of the action-provoking role. Because of the flatness with which Kearns delivers statements sympathetic to Brecht--"The law was made for the rich to exploit those who don't understand it"--he maintains distance from his character. In his dryness and his logic, his running about and his posing, Kearns reduces the "Beggar's Friend" to a common demoninator, strips him down to the essential. In the simple statement, "Justice gives way to humanity," Kearns presents to the audience a fait-accompli which they must now judge themselves...

...Isserlyn Creme jar lists 20 ingredients, most of them common chemicals and none of them particularly costly. Six of these ingredients-decyl oleate, lanolin oil, propylene glycol, isostearic acid, acetylated lanolin alcohol and ceteareth-5-are moisturizers and emollients. These relieve dryness and protect the skin by softening, conditioning and lubricating it. Triethanolamine, stearic acid, glyceryl stearate, magnesium aluminum silicate and PEG-75 lanolin oil are emulsifiers that enable the other ingredients to mix and form a smooth lotion. Three of the ingredients are pigments, which give color to the skin when the cream goes on. They are titanium dioxide...
