...Freshman nine will play Brown '03 on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock this afternoon. The showing of the Freshmen in the practice against the University nine yesterday was not encouraging, but this was due more to lack of practice caused by the recent bad weather than to a reversal of form. Sherlock, a recent addition to the team, is a fair fielder and a hard hitter and adds some strength to the nine. Brown '03 is stronger than most of the teams which the Freshmen have played, and the game should be close...
