Especially recommended are "Tootin' Thru The Roof" with an amazing duet by trumpeter Rex Stewart and trombonist Lawrence Brown, "Little Posey," a driving ensemble disc, and "Blues," a duet with Duke on plano and his new bass find, Jimmy Blanton.
