Gonzalez, son of Costa Rica's President Cleto Gonzalez, pleaded, argued, cajoled with Baxter Douglas Boozer and Donald Duke, two U.S. flyers, fellow passengers on the Pan-American Mail liner Colombia, bound for the Canal Zone.
