Yale scored the first touchdown by straight rushing from her own 35-yard line, after only nine minutes of play. The second score was on a field goal by Dunbar. Harvard had received the ball and being unable to score had punted to the centre of the field. Yale had little difficulty in advancing the ball to the 10-yard line and would undoubtedly have scored a second touchdown but for a penalty on offside play. Being unable to make up this distance lost, Yale successfully kicked the field goal...
