In besieged Zepa, the 79 Ukrainians on peacekeeping duty were first disarmed by Bosnian government soldiers, then driven into their shelters. Bosnian troops in Zepa threatened to kill the Ukrainian peacekeepers if the U.N. did not send a high-ranking negotiator.
