Jim Dwinell emerged as top scorer, with four goals, followed by Chris Norris who tallied twice. Dean Alpine, Tom Heintzman, Bruce Thomas, and Mike Grannis each scored once. Manager Dave Slattery called the game a "runaway" but warned that tomorrow's contest with Andover will be stiffer.

Sparked by lineman Jim Dwinell's two first period goals, the Freshman hockey team trounced Boston College 7 to 2 at the new McHugh Forum Saturday night. The contest was the Yardlings' first of the 1958-59 season.
