Multimedia messaging. Users can now send photos, vCards - that is, contact info - and, with the upcoming 3GS, video the same way they send text messages. One nice upside is that this enables users to send rich media to friends who don't have e-mail on their phones...
Merikangas' meta-analysis has plenty of its own detractors, particularly among the scientists whose work it refutes. "This article ignores the complete body of scientific evidence," says psychologist Caspi, who sent TIME.com an e-mail appended with 22 citations of studies that support his findings. "In the past six years, extensive research in experimental neuroscience using both animals and humans has validated the original report by showing that the 5-HTTLPR short allele-carriers are excessively vulnerable to stress," he says...
...This makes Twitter practically ideal for a mass protest movement, both very easy for the average citizen to use and very hard for any central authority to control. (A Lifestyle Intervention via Email). E-mail recipients got to choose one of three focus areas: boosting physical activity, increasing fruit and vegetable intake or decreasing sugars and saturated fats. The e...

The problem is that all these data streams are increasingly hard to manage. I have one contact list of my friends and family on my iPhone; I can also switch to a directory of work associates. But then I've got a third list of friends at Facebook and yet another on LinkedIn. The promise of the Pre's WebOS is that it can take all those feeds and wirelessly combine them into one comprehensive...
