...candidates for the Mott Havan team met in large numbers yesterday afternoon in the Trophy Room of the gymnasium. Captain Cook spoke briefly, urging the men to be earnest and regular in their training. Mr. Lathrop impressed the fact that he expected to give his attention to the beginners as well as to the "stars" and urged the freshmen especially to turn out and train for the team.
