Buildings at the foot of Holyoke street are already being vacated, and will soon be torn down to clear the ground for the new Freshman dormitory to be located there. The land to the east of the Edison power plant along Boylston street, and that immediately north of Holyoke street along the bank of the Charles, will also be cleared this winter, so that the work of laying the foundations of the three Freshman dormitories may begin as soon as the frost is out of the ground next spring...

Foundations have been laid for the Coolidge Memorial Laboratory, another of the proposed chemical buildings, which will be situated directly to the east of the Wolcott Gibbs Laboratory. Work on the Coolidge building began six weeks ago, but was delayed because the plans for a heating system had not been completed. As yet, plans for the upper structure of the building are not definite, and no date for the completion of the building can be given...
...line Bomeisler and Gallauer will undoubtedly be found in the big games. The latter was placed on the All-American team last year by Walter Camp. The remaining line positions are somewhat in doubt, except that of centre, which Ketcham, generally considered the best centre in the East last year is practically sure of holding. Cooney, a former substitute in that position has been shifted to guard and seems likely material to fill one of the vacancies left by Francis and McDevitt. Green, of last year's freshmen, Randall and Arnold are other men whose work has been encouraging...
