Cornell won an easy victory over Princeton and Yale in the triangular race for eight-oar crews held on Carnegie Lake at Princeton Saturday. The Yale crew was distinctly outclassed by both of its rivals, finishing six lengths behind Princeton and nine lengths behind the winner. Cornell's time for the 1 3-4 miles was 9 minutes, 1 second; Princeton finished 12 seconds later, while Yale covered the course in 9 minutes, 47 seconds. During a storm one of the life boats broke loose and fell upon the box containing the shells, breaking off four feet of the stern of the eight-oar and crushing the bow of the four-oar.
