Bobbing Bodies. The opposition has become emboldened. Eighteen months ago, guerrillas aided by Cuba's Fidel Castro invaded Paraguay from Argentina, but Stroessner's army beat them off, and machete-chopped corpses of rebels were soon bobbing down the Parana River.
