...final season before heading off to the pro tour, Tom Blake could not be forgotten by the Regional Committee. The two-time All-American and last year's EITA Player of the Year was once again honored as the best player in the region. In addition, Blake was selected as the regional nominee for the ITA John Van Nostrand Memorial Award. Seven other candidates from around the country received the same accolades.
